At Churchill, our artists have the great privilege of working alongside a team of gifted artisan printers. Since 1959, the Kirsch family in Harrisburg has been preserving the art of specialized gold foil letterpress stamping. Their clients have included governors, mayors, and most recently, a special invitation project for the Smithsonian’s Roads of Arabia exhibition’s grand opening at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. From ordering a special two-step brass die to accurately reproducing the smallest detail of the ancient Arabian death mask to final stages of a labor-intensive hand stamping process, Kevin Kirsch’s exacting skill produced a stunning final product.

Designers: Scott Cole, Drew Philips.
